Arjuna: We have to listen to our hearts and protect what we think is beautiful. If one of us can change the way we think then all of us can change.

Tokio: What if you’re the first one who changes?

Arjuna: Hmm?

Tokio: You become an outcast of society.

Arjuna: Why? Why do they have to kill? The insects and the weeds are all helping to nurture the growth of the rice and the vegetables.

Old Man:“They’ve forgotten. They’re blinded by greed and short term efficiency. And they’re obsessed with having all of the produce look perfect, no spots. They’ve forgotten that their future actually depends on the weeds, the insects, and all the rest of the land.”

Arjuna: Why? Why has everyone forgotten?

Old man: “Maybe because everybody’s too busy to care. Too busy with work, with exams, studying-when people get caught up with the time on the clock they forget how life should be lived.”

Arjuna: How should we live?

Old Man: “The insects, weeds, and the land, as well as human beings should all become one. That’s how it should be.

Arjuna: How it should be….always.

Quote for Thought

Q: Why is it necessary to become more efficient?
Arjuna: To try and make as many things as possible in the shortest amount of time.

Q: Why?

Arjuna: Because it is easier to transport.

Q: Supermarkets throw away tons of expired pre package food and bended boxes, Why is that?

Q: A child is doing his best to do up a button on his shirt by himself but the parent gets impatient and tells him to put on a T-shirt instead, Why is that?

Arjuna: Because it is easier on the teacher.

Q: Even though every customer who walks into a fast food restaurant is different the staff will deal with the customer according to the manual, Why is that?
Arjuna: Because then you know what to expect and its easier.
